BLENDED LEARNING IN ESL/EFL CLASS

Blended learning requires digital technology transformation for lecturers and students, up-to-date teaching methods, flexible processes, the effectiveness of time, space, budget, motivation, autonomy, all which contribute to improving student achievement. However, current empirical research results do not support claim that blended improves students' English proficiency autonomy. Evidence shows has an effect on competence, ICT literacy. For this article, in ESL/EFL was investigated defined. This study is a quantitative explanatory type with pre-test post-test design. The participants were 198 students from Department Primary School Teacher Education, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Santu Paulus Ruteng. Seventy-four chosen as samples using random sampling method. Data taken by test non-test, data then analysed software program called SPSS 22.0. Twelve sessions, including six sessions face-to-face settings are done virtually through Zoom application. show strengthens competence (the mean score = 82.57), autonomy (88.57%), motivation (80%), literacy (71.43%).
